Festival of the Arts is on the Disney calendar from 15 January to 1 March 2027. February is inside that window and inside Visit Orlando's drier winter. The Orlando with kids page already covers Disney under-3 tickets, SeaWorld age rules and LEGOLAND. This note is the arts festival, the 69°F winter band, and the After Hours nights that are not a family default.
Disney and Visit Orlando were opened on 15 October 2026. Universal Mardi Gras 2027 dates did not load. SeaWorld's Seven Seas page still showed a 2026 span marked ended, so those 2027 daily dates are omitted.
15 January to 1 March, on an EPCOT ticket
The Festival of the Arts page prints 15 January through 1 March 2027, included with valid EPCOT admission, and lists Kids' Chalk Art. It also says to check back this winter. February is not a special add-on. It is a date inside a posted window.
Under-14s still need a guest 14 or over to enter. Under-7s still need a person 14 or over to board. Stroller wagons stay banned. Those rules do not loosen for chalk.
The Disney calendar also lists Princess Half Marathon Weekend from 25 February to 1 March 2027. That is a runner weekend, not a playground.
69°F, and a jacket after dark
Visit Orlando weather calls December to February mild and drier, daytime highs usually in the 60s and 70s°F (15 to 25°C). Snow is extremely rare. Hurricane season is 1 June to 30 November. Fast facts print December to February highs around 69°F and an annual average of 72 degrees.
The monthly chart did not render. No February-only high is invented. June to August highs of 90 to 95°F sit on the same FAQ as the contrast.
Packing on that FAQ names a light jacket for cooler evenings, especially in winter, plus year-round sunscreen and sunglasses. That jacket line is the February sentence. The poncho line is summer.
Parks strive to stay open 365 days. Ordinary February 2027 gate times were not on the public calendar.
After Hours is a different ticket
Disney After Hours lists Magic Kingdom on 1, 8, 15 and 22 February 2027, Hollywood Studios on 13 and 24 February, and EPCOT on 18 February. Those nights are a separate purchase. They imply an earlier park close, but the daytime clock was not printed. Do not take a preschooler to a 22:00 to 01:00 ticket.
SeaWorld's events index mentioned Mardi Gras as part of Seven Seas "in February" without 2027 dates. The dedicated festival page still said the 2026 event had ended. Elmo's Birthday "select dates in January and February" had no 2027 cards. All three stay off this guide.
A February stay that holds: one EPCOT day for Festival of the Arts, one LEGOLAND day for ages 2 to 12, a light jacket after dark. Skip After Hours unless the evening is for older children. For Flower and Garden in spring, use Orlando in April.
What 69°F is for
69°F is a full outdoor park day, not a dash between air-conditioned halls. It is also not the 90°F summer FAQ. Sunscreen is still year-round official advice.
If you have one Disney park in February, buy EPCOT for the arts window. If you have one child under 3, that child still needs no Disney ticket. If you have a half-marathon weekend, expect runners, not empty walkways.
LYNX fares and Baby Care Centers do not change with the month. They stay on Orlando with kids. Universal's 2027 Mardi Gras page will be usable when it prints a date. Until then it is not a plan.
Complimentary Baby Care Centers still operate in all four Disney theme parks, with a nursing room, changing tables, feeding area and kitchenette. February's 69°F air does not remove the need for that room. It removes the argument for hiding in a mall all day.
SeaWorld ages 2 and younger still need no ticket. Ages 3 and older still do. After Hours prices printed on the Disney page (189 to 209 US dollars plus tax for Magic Kingdom) are a separate evening, not a reason to skip the daytime Festival of the Arts. Do not buy both unless the group splits.
Orlando Science Center's standing 10:00 to 17:00 clock, closed Wednesday except school breaks, is the non-park indoor day. Easter Sunday closure is a standing rule. Easter 2027 is 28 March, so it is not a February fact.
