Jul / Sepair 26.3°CSummer contrast on the same table.

Visit Lisboa prints April inside an Apr/Jun air figure of 21.8°C, not a single-month thermometer. The Lisbon with kids page already covers Oceanário slots, CARRIS under-3s and the physical Lisboa Card. This note is that quarterly band, Freedom Day, and the longer Padrão evening.

Visit Lisboa, Padrão and Oceanário were opened on 15 October 2026. Visit Portugal's weather page was a live forecast, not a climate table. A yearless 11 to 25 April festival window is not used as 2027.

21.8°C air, 17.5°C sea

Traveller information is a four-row table. Jan/Mar air 17.1°C. Apr/Jun air 21.8°C and sea 17.5°C. Jul/Sep air 26.3°C. Oct/Dec air 17.2°C. Spring and autumn are "usually sunny days with mild temperatures."

Why Lisbon adds 290 sunny days a year and a temperature that rarely drops below 15°C. That is the floor, not an April high.

21.8°C is a light layer in the morning and a playground after lunch. It is not the 26.3°C summer row. It is not a sea-swim figure either: the printed sea temperature in that band is 17.5°C.

No official April clothing list sat on those pages. Do not invent one.

25 April is the date you can name

Freedom Day is the national holiday for 25 April 1974. Visit Lisboa describes the afternoon Great March down Avenida da Liberdade. That date is standing. The 2027 start time was not posted.

The same page mentions festivals from 11 to 25 April at Terreiro do Paço, Gulbenkian, Beato and Cinema São Jorge, without a year. Those days stay off this guide.

Metro still runs 06:30 to 01:00. CARRIS still lets under-3s ride free without a ticket. Those rules do not change because the avenue is closed for a march. If you want the march, treat it as the afternoon, not as a reason to skip the Oceanário slot you already booked.

Padrão until 19:00

Padrão dos Descobrimentos from March to September is 10:00 to 19:00, last entry 18:30. Under-12s are exempt. That is one hour later than the October to February close used on the February page. 1 May is a closed day. 25 April is not on the closed list.

Oceanário stays 10:00 to 20:00, last entry 19:00, under-12s with an adult. The December and 1 January exceptions do not apply in April.

A first April stay that holds: Oceanário on a timed slot, Padrão in the longer evening, the 25 April avenue only if you will be in town that afternoon. Do not stack the monument after a late aquarium slot. Last entry at Padrão is 18:30.

Lisboa Card remains a physical card. Belém Tower and Jerónimos still need a same-day slot after you have the card. Those bookings do not get easier on a national holiday.

What 21.8°C is for

21.8°C is Belém on foot if everyone can walk, and a tram 15 if they cannot. It is not a reason to skip water, and it is not permission to promise a river swim. The printed sea figure is 17.5°C.

If you have one paid ticket, buy Oceanário. If you have one free monument for under-12s, use the extra Padrão hour. If you have 25 April, watch the avenue and keep the aquarium for another morning.

Visit Lisboa will not give you an April rainfall count. This page will not invent one. For fares and the child card rules, stay on Lisbon with kids.

Oceanário slot prices on the year-round page still drop through the day: 17.70 euros for a child 3 to 12 at 10:00 to 11:30, then 16.60, then 15.50 after 16:00. Ages 0 to 2 stay free. Under-12s still need an adult. Book the late slot if you also want Padrão's 19:00 close. Book the early slot if 25 April has taken the afternoon.

CARRIS still allows one open pushchair per vehicle. Metro still provides wide gates. Tram 15 to Belém fills on a sunny 21.8°C day. If the march is using Avenida da Liberdade, do not assume the 28 will be empty. Walk a block and take the next one.

Jerónimos and Belém Tower still need a same-day time slot after you hold the physical Lisboa Card. A national holiday is a bad morning to discover you only have a screenshot. Collect the card the day before.
