February sits in Visit Lisboa's Jan/Mar bucket at 17.1°C, and Padrão shuts the door at 18:00. The Lisbon with kids page already covers Oceanário slot prices, navegante child rules and the Lisboa Card. This note is the winter band, the shorter monument, and the Carnival dates that were not posted.

Visit Lisboa, Visit Portugal, Padrão and Oceanário were opened on 15 October 2026. Sesimbra and Loures Carnival pages still said 2026. They are omitted.

17.1°C, and a 15°C floor

Traveller information puts February inside Jan/Mar: air 17.1°C, sea 17.1°C. Oct/Dec is 17.2°C. Apr/Jun, on the April page, is 21.8°C. Winters are "mild." Spring is the sunny-and-mild sentence, not this row.

Why Lisbon repeats 290 sunny days and a temperature that rarely drops below 15°C. Visit Portugal's winter sun says the country rarely falls below 10°C and that you always need sunglasses. That 10°C floor is national. It is not merged with the Lisbon 15°C line.

17.1°C is a jacket on the waterfront. It is not the 21.8°C April band. It is not a swimming figure, even though the printed sea temperature matches the air.

The only official clothing sentence is the national sunglasses line. Visit Lisboa did not print a February packing list.

The monument loses an hour

Padrão from October to February is 10:00 to 18:00, last entry 17:30. Under-12s stay exempt. Closed 1 January, 1 May, 24, 25 and 31 December. February is inside the short clock. Arrive before 16:30 if you want the view without a rush.

Oceanário does not shorten. 10:00 to 20:00, last entry 19:00, under-12s with an adult. The December and New Year exceptions are not February facts.

Metro remains 06:30 to 01:00. Under-4s remain free on Metro. From 4 to 12, visiting children still need an occasional ticket, not the resident child card. CARRIS still lets under-3s ride without a ticket.

Carnival stays undated

Visit Lisboa still listed Carnaval de Sesimbra and Carnaval de Loures as 2026 editions. No 2027 Lisbon Carnival date appeared. A Cascais half-marathon sits on 6 to 7 February 2027, with children's circular routes mentioned. That is Cascais, not Terreiro do Paço.

A Pet Festival card for 6 to 8 February had no year. It is omitted.

A February day that holds: Oceanário on a late slot, Padrão before 17:30, no parade you cannot date. If you want the longer monument evening, wait for March.

What the short day is for

17:30 last entry at Padrão is the planning fact. Do not put the aquarium at 16:00 and hope to reach Belém. Reverse it: monument first, tanks after.

If you have one paid ticket, keep Oceanário. If you have one free under-12 visit, use Padrão before the winter close. If you have a Sunday, remember Metro still needs an occasional ticket for visiting 4-to-12-year-olds.

Do not pack for 10°C just because the national winter-sun page used that number. Do not pack for 21.8°C just because April will. 17.1°C is the row you are in. For fares, stay on Lisbon with kids.

Oceanário's Flexiticket on the year-round page was 41 euros for an adult, valid 7 days. The visit is listed at one and a half to two hours. That is the indoor February hour when 17.1°C air sits over a 17.1°C river. Under-12s still need an adult. Last entry is still 19:00.

The Lisboa Card still does not cover boats. If you want a river look, it is a separate ticket. Trams 28 and 15 stay inside the card. Oriente still serves the aquarium. Do not ride to Belém at 16:45 and expect Padrão to let you in. Last entry is 17:30 on the winter clock.

Sábados da Ribeira listed Saturdays including 6, 13, 20 and 27 February 2027 as a craft market. That is a stall field, not a children's festival. Use it as a walk-past if you are already in the neighbourhood. Do not build the day on it.

Padrão's combined ticket on the year-round page was 10 euros, exhibition alone 5 euros. Youth aged 13 to 25 pay 5 euros combined or 2.50 euros for the exhibition. Under-12s stay exempt. February's 18:00 close does not change those prices. It changes when you must be at the door.

If 17.1°C air arrives with wind off the river, sit inside Oceanário for the two-hour visit the operator printed, then take Oriente back. Do not add Belém on tired legs after 16:00. The winter last-entry time will not wait.

Questions

Is February as warm as April in Lisbon?

Visit Lisboa puts February in the Jan/Mar 17.1°C band and April in the Apr/Jun 21.8°C band. Both sit above the Why Lisbon floor of 15°C. They are not the same row.

Does Padrão close earlier in February?

Yes. October to February is 10:00 to 18:00, last entry 17:30. March to September is 10:00 to 19:00. Under-12s stay exempt.

When is Carnival 2027 in Lisbon?

Not on the official Visit Lisboa pages opened. 2026 listings for Sesimbra and Loures are not reused. A Cascais half-marathon sits on 6 to 7 February 2027, outside the city centre.
