| Month | Weather | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| December | 6.2°C to 12.4°C | Start of the listed winter block on the climate page. |
| January | 6.8°C to 13.3°C | Still cooler than February on the same table. |
| February | 9.0°C to 16.5°C | Winter middays described as pleasantly sunny. Annual rain about 700 mm, more in spring and autumn. |
| Natural Sciences Museum, October to February | Tue to Fri 10:00 to 17:00 | Saturday 10:00 to 19:00. Sunday 10:00 to 20:00. Under-16s free. |
February on the same climate page as April is 16.5°C by day and 9.0°C at night. The Barcelona with kids page already covers TMB visitor fares, Park Güell child tickets and zoo prices. This note is the winter thermometer, the 12 February feast day, and the shorter weekday science clock.
Turisme de Barcelona, barcelona.cat, Museu de Ciències Naturals and CosmoCaixa were opened on 15 October 2026. Carnival 2027 dates were not posted. The 2026 Santa Eulàlia hub is not rolled forward.
9.0°C at night, sun at midday
Clima de Barcelona lists February as 16.5°C high and 9.0°C low. January is 13.3 and 6.8. December is 12.4 and 6.2. Annual rain is about 700 mm, heavier in spring and autumn, so February is not the wet argument.
The same page says most winter middays have a pleasant, warm sun. Snow, if you want it, is at La Molina and Masella, about 90 minutes away, not on Passeig de Gràcia.
April on that table is 17.8 and 10.8, with a light jacket and sunglasses. That clothing line sits in the spring block. This page will not steal it for February. 9.0°C at night is a coat. 16.5°C at midday can be a walk without one.
A November 27.9°C maximum on the same page sits next to October 20.7 and December 12.4. That November figure is internally inconsistent. It is omitted.
12 February, not last year's four-day map
Cultura Popular treats Santa Eulàlia as the winter festival around 12 February each year. The City Hall banner goes up at 09:45 on the 12th. Giants, human towers, sardanes and a children's correfoc sit on that standing page.
The 2026 hub still said 12 to 15 February, and that Carnival shared those dates in 2026. That is last year's overlap. The 2027 street plan was not posted. Come for the feast day. Do not copy the 2026 block.
Carnival's live page was still titled 2026 (12 to 18 February). Ash Wednesday moves between 4 February and 10 March. No 2027 Carnival row appeared on the city holiday list. This page will not date Carnival.
Weekday science shuts at 17:00
The Natural Sciences Museum from October to February is Tuesday to Friday 10:00 to 17:00. Saturday 10:00 to 19:00. Sunday 10:00 to 20:00. Last entry 30 minutes before close. Under-16s stay free. First Sunday all day, and every Sunday from 15:00, stay free for everyone.
That is earlier than the March to September weekday 19:00 close used on the April page. A Tuesday in February is a shorter science morning.
CosmoCaixa stays 10:00 to 20:00, rooms at 21°C, general admission 8 euros, under-16s free. Closed 25 December, 1 January and 6 January. A free-day line for 15 February had no year. 15 February 2026 was a festival Sunday. It is not used as 2027.
Park Güell's live ticket bands were still 09:30 to 19:30 with no February split. Resident-only windows stay 07:00 to 09:30 and 20:00 to 22:00. The zoo page still showed only that day's hours, so no February zoo table is invented.
A February day that holds: Santa Eulàlia on the 12th if you are in town, CosmoCaixa when you want 21°C air, Natural Sciences on a Saturday or Sunday when the clock runs later. TMB under-4s still ride free. For fares, stay on the year-round page.
What 16.5°C is not
16.5°C is not Sant Jordi and it is not beach weather. It is a midday park if the sun is out, and a coat on the way to breakfast. Do not pack the April sunglasses line as if the climate page had written it twice.
If you have one indoor ticket, buy CosmoCaixa on a weekday, because Natural Sciences has already gone to 17:00. If you have one feast day, put 12 February on the calendar and ignore the leftover 12 to 15 February card. If you have a Park Güell slot, it is still a timed ticket plus 30 minutes, no re-entry, even when the air is 9.0°C.
TMB still lets under-4s ride without a ticket. T-16 remains a resident card for ages 4 to 16, not a visitor product. T-familiar is still 8 journeys in 30 days. Those fares do not change because Santa Eulàlia is on the civic calendar.
Barcelona Zoo still said it was open every day, closed Christmas afternoon, with hours that change by season and sunlight. The live widget showed that day's clock, not a February table. Do not invent a 17:00 zoo close. Check the morning you go.
CosmoCaixa's 24 December, 31 December and 5 January 10:00 to 18:00 specials are not February facts. 1 January and 6 January closes are already past if you arrive in February. The 21°C room is the February sentence.
Questions
Is Santa Eulàlia always 12 February?
The popular-culture page treats 12 February as the feast day each year. The 2026 hub still showed 12 to 15 February and a shared week with Carnival. The 2027 street programme was not posted.
Does the Natural Sciences Museum close earlier in February?
Tuesday to Friday yes: 10:00 to 17:00 from October to February, against 10:00 to 19:00 from March to September. Saturday stays 10:00 to 19:00. Sunday stays 10:00 to 20:00. Under-16s stay free.
What should you wear in February?
The climate page does not print a February clothing list. The light jacket and sunglasses line sits in the spring block, which this page does not reuse. 9.0°C to 16.5°C is a coat morning and a sun midday.
