The best time to visit Dubai is November to March, when the UAE National Center of Meteorology's monthly means put daytime highs between 24.0°C and 30.5°C and both seasonal parks are open. April and October are warm shoulder months with the parks still running. June to September brings mean highs of 38.7°C to 40.6°C, and most outdoor plans move indoors.

Figures below were checked on 5 November 2026. This is the all-traveller timing page for Dubai. The month pages written for children, such as Dubai in February with kids, carry the park and age detail. Pair this page with the 3 day itinerary, where to stay and trip cost, or start from things to do.
The climate table in one paragraph
The normals in the table are the UAE National Center of Meteorology's 1974 to 1991 monthly averages for Dubai, as published on the WMO World Weather Information Service. January is the coolest month at a mean high of 24.0°C and low of 13.7°C. July has the highest mean high at 40.6°C, and August the warmest nights at a 29.3°C mean low. Rain is a winter event: January averages 11.3 mm on 1.8 days, February 35.7 mm on 3.7 days, and May to October together total 0.7 mm.
The official table has no humidity, sea temperature or sunshine figures, so this page prints none.
November to March: the open season
Everything outdoor is open. Global Village Season 31 runs from 14 October 2026 to May 2027. Dubai Miracle Garden Season 15 runs from 8 October 2026 to 31 May 2027. The 32nd Dubai Shopping Festival runs 4 December 2026 to 17 January 2027 according to the organiser, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment.
The Department of Economy and Tourism reported 19.59 million international overnight visitors in 2025 and average hotel occupancy of 80.7 percent across the year, per Gulf News. With four rooms in five taken on an average night, book early whatever the month; Hey Ula has no monthly occupancy figure to print.
Ramadan and Eid in 2027
Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin on Monday 8 February, with Eid Al Fitr on 9 or 10 March and an Eid Al Adha holiday from 15 to 18 May, all subject to moon sighting, per Gulf News. Attractions stay open but hours shift: the Dubai Frame says its 8:00am to 9:00pm timings may change during Ramadan and public holidays. Evenings run late and lunchtime dining is quieter. It is a good month for the Creek after dark and a poor one for a midday restaurant plan.
April, May and October: shoulder
April's mean high is 32.4°C with 7.6 mm of rain. October is 35.1°C and dry. Both parks are open at both ends: the garden to 31 May and from 8 October, Global Village to May and from 14 October. Morning outdoors, afternoon indoors, evening outdoors is the rhythm, and it holds for May too if you accept a 36.8°C mean high.
June to September: the indoor season
Mean highs are 38.8°C in June, 40.6°C in July, 40.4°C in August and 38.7°C in September, with lows that stay at or above 26.1°C. Both seasonal parks are shut. The metro, the malls and the fountain's 6:00pm to 11:00pm shows carry the day. Hey Ula found no official summer hotel rate, so it prints none.
What is closed in 2026 and early 2027
The Museum of the Future is closed from early September 2026 until the first quarter of 2027. Whichever month you choose before then, it is not available, and there is no point timing a trip around a reopening date that has not been announced as a day.
What travellers say
Of the threads we could read, one speaks to weather. In Adu-Dhabi, Dubai itinerary planning suggestions and questions (r/travel, posted 2023, accessed 5 November 2026), about a trip in April, one reply said Dubai is not a walking city and pointed walkers to the Abu Dhabi Corniche, in the evening because of the heat. Another said how much heat you can walk in depends on the climate you are used to. Paraphrased, nothing embedded.
Reading the table
Use the high for the daytime plan and the low for the evening. A 24.0°C high and 13.7°C low in January is a light jacket after dark on the Creek. A 40.6°C high and 28.9°C low in July is a city where the outdoor hour is 6:00am and the evening is the fountain and a terrace with misting fans. The rain column matters only from December to March, and then only for driving.
For a given month, ask Hey Ula for a day shape that keeps you outside in the hours the table allows.
